3/1: Injury Ends McGilvray's Season
Ryan McGilvray's outstanding season came to an end Friday night as a rib injury suffered at Districts forced him to withdraw from the tournament. McGilvray gutted the injury out through six miunutes of his quarterfinal bout with eventual Region champion Jimmy Somma of Colts Neck, but had to pull out of the wrestlebacks. McGilvray finishes the year with a record of 30-3 and 1st Place medals at the Neptune Classic and District 21 Tournament. Congratulations on a great season and a great career to Ryan.
2/26: Mammalello and Fletcher Eliminated From Region 6 Tournament
Ryan Fletcher and Joe Mammalello both suffered defeats in Tuesday night's opening round of the Region 6 Tournament, eliminating them from the tournament. Fletcher finished the season with a 17-8 record, while Mammalello wound up at 14-14.
Ryan McGilvray had a 1st Round bye and will compete in Friday night's quarterfinals.

2/23: McGilvray Takes 1st, Braves Finish 6th at District 21
Senior Ryan McGilvray defeated returning District Champion Jim Somma of Colts Neck, 6-5, in the 135-pound final to win his first District Title and improve his record to 30-1 on the year. McGilvray, who became the first Manalapan wrestler to win a District Title since Anthony Accardi in 2005, advances to the Region 6 Tournament along with teammates Joe Mammalello and Ryan Fletcher.

12/15: Manalapan Finishes 5th at Neptune Classic
It was a huge weekend in Neptune for Manalapan junior Vin Signorello. Not only did Signorello win the 112 pound Championship, he was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Wrestler. Signorello went 4-0 on the weekend and he, along with fellow champion Ryan McGilvray at 135, helped the Braves to a 5th Place finish at the Neptune Classic.
Manalapan also received a 2nd Place finish from senior Anthony Zaharakis at 215, and a 4th Place finish from Joe Russo at 130 to cap a solid opening weekend for the Braves.

3/1: Injury Ends McGilvray's Season
Ryan McGilvray's outstanding season came to an end Friday night as a rib injury suffered at Districts forced him to withdraw from the tournament. McGilvray gutted the injury out through six miunutes of his quarterfinal bout with eventual Region champion Jimmy Somma of Colts Neck, but had to pull out of the wrestlebacks. McGilvray finishes the year with a record of 30-3 and 1st Place medals at the Neptune Classic and District 21 Tournament. Congratulations on a great season and a great career to Ryan.
2/26: Mammalello and Fletcher Eliminated From Region 6 Tournament
Ryan Fletcher and Joe Mammalello both suffered defeats in Tuesday night's opening round of the Region 6 Tournament, eliminating them from the tournament. Fletcher finished the season with a 17-8 record, while Mammalello wound up at 14-14.
Ryan McGilvray had a 1st Round bye and will compete in Friday night's quarterfinals.

2/23: McGilvray Takes 1st, Braves Finish 6th at District 21
Senior Ryan McGilvray defeated returning District Champion Jim Somma of Colts Neck, 6-5, in the 135-pound final to win his first District Title and improve his record to 30-1 on the year. McGilvray, who became the first Manalapan wrestler to win a District Title since Anthony Accardi in 2005, advances to the Region 6 Tournament along with teammates Joe Mammalello and Ryan Fletcher.

It was a huge weekend in Neptune for Manalapan junior Vin Signorello. Not only did Signorello win the 112 pound Championship, he was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Wrestler. Signorello went 4-0 on the weekend and he, along with fellow champion Ryan McGilvray at 135, helped the Braves to a 5th Place finish at the Neptune Classic.
Manalapan also received a 2nd Place finish from senior Anthony Zaharakis at 215, and a 4th Place finish from Joe Russo at 130 to cap a solid opening weekend for the Braves.
